The method

Three principles behind every course

01

Built around your world

Designed from scratch around your work, your goals and the topics you choose.

02

Pitched to your level

A CEFR level check sets your starting point, and your course moves as you do.

03

Delivered with presence

24 years in theatre, film and TV bring voice, structure and composure to how you speak.

Duncan

Duncan Maurice

Duncan Maurice

English coach · Director · Teacher trainer

Duncan Maurice is a qualified English teacher and native speaker from Australia, with a neutral, international accent shaped by elocution training.

He has taught English full time for seven years, in private, public, international and online settings, from Seoul and Lima to Sydney and Mexico City. His clients have included professionals at Mercedes-Benz, Google, Globant, Haskell and Learnship, along with lawyers, government officials, energy-sector leaders, medical professionals and postgraduate candidates who went on to win their places.

Before teaching, he spent more than two decades in design, production, direction and producing in theatre, film, television and live events. That work is the foundation of how he teaches: how a message lands, how a room responds, and how to stay composed when it matters.

What that brings to your English

Presence

How you hold a room or a camera, in English, with the same authority you have in your own language.

Voice and delivery

Pace, pause, stress and clarity, so you are understood the first time.

Structure and story

Openings that earn attention, arguments that build, and endings people remember.

Composure under questioning

Rehearsed for the Q&A, the panel interview and the negotiation that changes direction.
